VEGAS!

I spent the past 5 days in Vegas with my mom, sister, cousin and aunt. We were celebrating Amanda's 21st birthday! We had a fabulous time! We did a variety of things like touring the many casinos and their awesome architecture. Everyone of them is uniquely different and intriging. We did a little gambling along the way of course. I stuck to the penny slots since loosing money makes me super crabby and I'm not lucky when it comes to slots. We saw a couple shows too, heres the two we saw: Mystere by Cirque du Soleil and La Cage. (looks interesting...it is but its amazing how good these guys are!)

The weather was nice, but VERY HOT! It was over 100 degrees everyday we were there. It was a "dry heat" as everyone says, but I still think it was HOT! It didn't rain or even show clouds in the sky until Saturday morning when we were heading to the airport. Besides causing some slight delays in our flights, the weather was nothing but beautiful!

Amanda, Jen and I went out to a variety of clubs also. We got on VIP lists for VooDoo, Tau, and Jet by an event coordinator approaching us at a casino the first day we were there. It was awesome! We drank free and got into the VIP areas of the clubs. This meant bypassing the line of hundreds of people waiting to get in and not paying the $50 cover charges! I felt kinda bad some of the time, but it was a blast! Thursday night, we went to Jet in the Mirage Casino and actually were VIP for Slash's (Guns 'N Roses) birthday party! We saw him and Daughtry perform on stage! Then Will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas) was dejay-ing the rest of the party. It was a lot of fun. We went to a dualing piano bar another night where Amanda found herself up on the piano being seranaded by the dualing piano players for her birthday!
