Busy Weekend

We started the weekend early last Friday, I was off and Jason came home from work early that afternoon. It was a beautiful day so we wanted to do something outside with friends. We debated taking the boat out or going to the Brewer's game and tailgating. Eventually we packed up dinner for the boat that evening and headed out on the water. The water was calm and not very busy and the sun was out, it was beautiful! We started knee boarding and tubing around the lake. The beautiful afternoon ended later that evening when I took a hard fall on the knee board. We then took the boat out of the water and headed to the ER. Thankfully, although my vision was not working perfectly, they said there was no damage, basically it was just ugly and puffy! Saturday I couldn't get my left eye open...it was NOT pretty. Although it is much better (feeling and looking) today, I think I'll stay driving or riding in the boat for the rest of the summer!

Saturday we headed over to a cookout with some of Jason's old college friends in Madison. A couple of them were back from Spain where they now live. We had a great time with old friends out in Madison Saturday night!

Sunday we headed to a show for Jason's work, then took the firetruck back to Appleton that afternoon. We had dinner and drinks with my parents, Amanda and Sam and had a good time visiting with my family. Getting home late Sunday night, it was a busy on the go weekend, thats for sure!

I am definitely enjoying a couple weeks without a class! But starting to look forward to my times in the clinic this fall. Next week we head to Dallas! Have a great week everyone!!
