Happy Holidays!

It always amazes me how fast time flies...and this past month is no exception.  We have enjoyed Rylan's first Thanksgiving and now we are fast approaching his first Christmas.  Rylan turned 5 months last week; he now enjoys rolling over (front to back and back to front), eating cereal, giggling, and playing with his toys that he can chew on and then drop on the floor :).  He sits up very well with a little support or pillow behind him.  This is his new position, he is not a fan of laying down when he is held or playing at all anymore.  Apparently laying is only for sleeping in his opinion now.  He cut his first tooth this weekend and now has one pearly white staring us in the face when he smiles or yawns.  Thankfully this has not really made him crabby at all.  He continues to be such a joy in our lives and is so happy and content we cannot help but feel so blessed, and a little spoiled by his wonderful temperament.  Here are some photos of how things have been around here this holiday season.  We hope that everyone has a very blessed and joyful Christmas surrounded by all those they love!

Thanksgiving PJs

attempting to sit up in the bouncy chair...doesn't work the best!

All bundled up to help (supervise) Daddy hang the Christmas lights

Checking out my first Christmas tree

loves the tub!  Can't wait for swimming lessons in January!

First time eating cereal and LOVING it!

That rice cereal must taste delicious, be smiles!

Playing on my bench that Dr. Pelech (from mommy's work)
made for Rylan, although it acts more like a table for now.

its the perfect size for a little table when he sits in his bumbo seat

being silly wearing Daddy's hat, while out for family dinner out last weekend

seeing Santa for the first time

He smiled the whole time, looks like they are having a heart to heart here!
