Jason, Katie, Rylan and Beckett

Rylan surprises us every day with how fast he is growing and learning. He loves time on the floor to play in his jungle gym and enjoys anything with bright lights! He is learning that his hands belong to them and is working on reaching for things and not hitting himself in the face as much! He is learning too that crying gets him picked up :) aweee...it doesn't take long does it, but how can you resist? He is also growing and eating like a champ, after hanging out in his newborn clothes for almost 7 weeks, he is quickly exploring his 0-3 and 3 month clothes. He smiles often and has the most adorable confused face when he sneezes, as if to say..."what was that? (or) who did that?" We know that he likes the bathtub, since yesterday when I went to take him out after he was splashing around for almost 10 minutes already, he cried....I put him back in right away and he grinned. It was hilarious!

Katie is enjoying maternity leave very much and is slightly dreading the days back to work, although knowing that her semi-part time hours will be a great mix and balance for being at home and still working in the career she loves and spent so much time to get to. Jason has been enjoying golfing most weekends and of course already teaching Rylan all the ins and outs of football as they enjoy the games cuddling together. We escaped to a good friends wedding a couple weekends ago (thanks mom). We had a lot of fun, but it was hard to leave him for the first time. We had a great time and enjoyed being out together again. Last weekend Katie's old teammates and roommates and their spouses visited for the weekend. We had a great time with everyone and look forward to our next weekend together in the spring. We are planning to take Rylan to his first Brewer's game on Sunday to root them on ... Rylan is of course also very excited to watch his very first Packer game tomorrow night too! :)
