Busy Weekend!

Last Thursday/Friday was Amanda's Nursing Pinning and Graduation from college. We are so very proud of her. I actually forgot my camera on the trip to Winona (YIKES! I know) So I'll post some pics of that event when I get them from Mom. CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA!

Saturday we participated in the American Cancer Society Sole Burner in Appleton to raise money for cancer research. We ran/walked with Team Bengel for my cousin in law who is battling ALL. Right now he is on the winning side of that battle with Leukemia, but trying to overcome some of the side effects from some very powerful drugs. Curt walked the whole 5K with all of us and did so at a remarkable pace! We were so happy to be a part of hopefully finding the cure for this horrible disease! Sunday we spent some time with my family and then with Jason's family as well for Mother's Day. Its been a while since we've seen Paisley, WOW, has she grown. She is cute as ever and very smiley!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our puppy, Jake. He will be here a week from Thursday! We have finished the addition we put on the house/garage for him. It turned out to be quite the "puppy palace" as I call it. We took the space in the garage that was a landing of sorts outside the back door/entrance, and built a room with some heat and AC ran to it. We put up a gate to keep him in the smaller part of the room while he is smaller and Jason also put up some plexi-glass liner on the walls there too since we heard that puppies like drywall :)
