Happy New Year.....Skiiiiing!

Over the New Year's I made my first attempt at skiing! It actually went surprisingly well. Jason and I went with Brett and Jenn; they were all very supportive, giving frequent advice and of course laughing with me when I fell. Their most important teaching method of course, was giving me about 4-5 runs on the bunny hill, before collectively deciding that I was good enough to go to the top! Talk about jumping in the deep end! All in all, it went pretty well with minimal falls, believe it or not. It was super cold that night, but we had a lot of fun! I really really enjoyed it and was very pleased with my many Christmas presents in use! There are no pics since I was terrified to bring my camera and fall on it (inevitable) and thus break it. We are heading up to Wausau next weekend with Brett and Jenn and some friends for a weekend of skiing at Rib Mountain. We'll post some pics when we get back! Have a great week everyone!
