We spent a long 5 day weekend last week in the Dells area. It was a great time. We stayed at the Kalhari Resort and it surly is wonderful! Jason had to be there for work and I (very luckily) get to tag along for some R&R time in the sun. We had a chance to use the wonderful relaxing pool area right below our balcony, and also the indoor and outdoor water parks at the resort too. The weather was beautiful despite earlier forecasts of rain and storms towards the end of the week.
We went to a dinner theater one night and saw the musical Footloose, it was entertaining and very nicely done. (the picture on left is us at the theater) At a hypnotist show we went to another night Jason and his brother were taken on stage and attempted to be hypnotized, fortunately (or unfortunately however you look at it) it didn't work. The show was...well intersting we'll say! :)
Sunday before we left we went over to see the area that used to be Lake Delton. It was amazing what a lake looks like when there is no more water. Here's Jason standing below a boat that is at a dock. There are many more pictures of the lake and of us near some boats on the pics website off the link to the right, as always.
