A little more good news rolled in late this week. I have received word that I am a national finalist for the post-graduate scholarship through NCAA. I will find out late in February after the national committee meeting and decision. I am our regions finalist and I have a 1 in 8 chance now of getting the scholarship to pay for grad school!!! :) Cross your fingers around the end of Feb!
It was a good weekend as i look back....Friday was an amazing night with friends, roomies, and neighbors. What a great time we had...and our house saturday morning was there in ruin to prove it!! Ahhhh fun times!
Sooooo on Saturday as I arose a lil groggy and maaaybe a bit hungover, I ventured off to my 4th grade boys first game of the season for bball. As I walked around the corner and entered the gym, much to my surprise there stood my daddy!!! Drove all the way here early saturday morning to watch me coach my guys in our first game. Too bad we lost (but only by one point). We did however recover from a 0-8 start, the boys did well. It was fun and great to have Dad there! Afterwards we of course chatted about the game and I got some good pointers from one of the best coaches I've played for. :) Then we went out for breakfast and went grocery shopping!! :) It turned out to be a WONDERFUL Saturday!
Today will be a day filled with cleaning, homework, studying and preparing for another long week of clinicals. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! Much luv! ~Kait
